Installed in the Lesser Hall at Lockerbie Town Hall, this memorial window depicts the flags of all the nations who lost citizens when Pan Am 103 “Clipper Maid of the Seas” was destroyed by an act of terrorism over the town of Lockerbie on 21st December 1988. The memorial was designed by John Clark of Glasgow and presented to the town by Scottish Metropolitan and is best viewed from the inside of the building. Access is possible during normal office hours as the building is managed by Dumfries & Galloway Council but special arrangements to view may be possible by contacting Dryfesdale Lodge Visitors’ Centre.
